Raising Our Perspective

If you ask the question “Why are you here?,” most believers would say, “I am called to be a pastor or evangelist.”  Perhaps, they would say, “I am called to be a teacher” or “I am called into a career in medicine.”

Identifying our specific calling is important.  However, fulfilling our specific calling is not the fundamental reason why God put us here.

In Genesis 1:27, God created man in His image to walk in union with Him in His likeness.  Still, in Romans 8:29, we find that God’s desire is to conform fallen man into His image. Brothers and sisters, we have missed it, if we are living for any other purpose than to express the beauty and likeness of God in character and stature.

“We exist for God’s Glory – His Purpose – His Praise!”

Raising Our Perspective

Romans 8:18

“For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”

Perspectives differ from one person to the next.  Many believers, perceive life as it relates to our time on planet earth.  However, the scriptures remind us that our time on this earth cannot compare to the  glorious time that we will spend with God throughout eternity.

Beloveds, planet earth is just our training ground.  I believe that we will carry our gifts with us into eternity so that we can glorify God throughout the ages!  Beloveds, we haven’t seen anything yet!

This life is hard.  Our suffering is a result of living in a fallen world.  God will use the circumstances in our lives to shape us into His likeness.

God’s ultimate goal for our lives is found in Jude 1:24: “Now to the One who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you blameless before the presence of His glory with great joy…”

God’s ultimate goal for our lives is for you (and me) to be presented blameless before Him on that great and glorious day!

Knowing God’s intent as a good Father, I can rest assure that He will walk me though my valleys, so that I can stand upon the high places with Him in this life and throughout all eternity.

“The more intimacy I experience in my walk with God, the more like Him I become.  That which has our focus also has our heart. “

With God’s perspective in mind, I am encouraged that no matter what I experience in this life, God will be glorified through it all!!!!  Through our tests and trials, we become eligible to experience life with God throughout the ages to come.

Encountering God

KingDavidDancedEncountering God must be an integral part of our lives.  When we approach the Father’s throne we hear the sound of music and dancing.   In this season, God is awaking the slumbered.  God will make known His awe, beauty, splendor, and wonder.  The entire earth is waiting for the expressions of the glory of God.

This is a season of renaissance, recovery, and reawakening.  We must take the challenge to come up higher.  We must return to that secret place, where we are fascinated with His beauty; in awe of His splendor; and exhilarated in His presence.

There is no end to the purposes and plans of God.  There is no end to the richness of His glory in this life and throughout all eternity.

In Loving Memory – Neville Johnson

“God’s great general, brother Neville Johnson went home to be with the Lord on September 1, 2019.

Neville Johnson was to the United Kingdom, New Zealand & Australia as Billy Graham was to the US.

Neville Johnson was a general in God’s army, who had a strong prophetic gift for the end-times, in which he shared with the nations.

Well done brother Neville! You have graduated into eternity!  Thank you for expressing the beauty and grace of God in your ministry.  Thank you for pouring out to us, what Abba poured into you!!!

It is such an honor to share with you Neville Johnson’s final sermons.   Please CLICK HEREto view a catalog of Neville Johnson’s 2019 video archives.

“There will be times in life, when God will throw us into the ‘deep-end’ and say swim.  If we sink, God will pull us out, give us a break, and then throw us back into the ‘deep-end’ again and say swim.  All for the purpose of training us, refining our character, and transforming us into His likeness.  When we pass the test, we gain a testimony!!!”
