40 Days of Prayer – Prayer Focus: Settling Issues

The Journey Begins

Galatians 6:17 says, “From now on let no one make trouble for me, for I bear on my body the scars of Yeshua.”

Today, let us live (Galatians 6:17). Just because there is drama, doesn’t mean that we have to attend the performance.  Let’s keep our eyes on Yeshua!  Let’s refuse to get caught up in situations that will rob our peace.  This is a new year!  Protect your peace!

Greetings Beloveds,

This is the last day of 2018.  Let us give God thanks and praise for bringing us through another year!  Let us pray into the New Year.  Let us prophesy what God has spoken to us – concerning us!  In prayer, let us cancel every assignment, plot, plan, and scheme of the enemy over this New Year.

Colossians 1:19-20

“For God was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in Him and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, making peace through the blood of His cross—whether things on earth or things in heaven!”

Colossians 1:19-20 declares that Yeshua (Jesus) brings peace through His work of reconciliation on Calvary.

To “reconcile” something is often used as a financial term.  To reconcile something refers to having a matter settled.  Is there a situation in your life that you need settled today?  Let’s settle some matters in prayer.  Let’s not drag the frustrations of 2018 into a new year.

Our scripture text declares that Yeshua’s work of reconciliation has brought us peace.  Let us appropriate that peace today over the situations in our lives.

During these 40 Days of Prayer, command peace all around you.  Command peace within yourself.  Settle the issues of your heart in the presence of the Lord.   Let us lay down our worries before God in honor and adoration. Be at peace.

Let’s Pray

Father, we thank You that You loved us so much that You sent Your only Son to be a sacrifice for our sins.  Father, we thank You that on the third day Yeshua rose with resurrection POWER!  That same POWER – the Ruach Hakodesh (Holy Spirit) lives within us.

Father, we come before You today, lifting up our lives, our loved ones, our ministries, our careers and the unsettled matters and circumstances in our lives. Father, we declare Your PEACE over our lives today!  We refuse to bring frustrations into a new year.

Yeshua, we ask that You take authority over every situation that has come to disturb our peace.  We shall remain seated with You in heavenly places.

In the name of Yeshua, we speak a blessing over all our friendships and relationships.  We declare that every assignment of the enemy to cause misunderstandings, a broken heart, emotional pain, and bewildered emotions are destroyed in Yeshua’s name.

Yeshua, we thank You that every problem has become a shadow in the light of YOUR PRESENCE as we sit at Your feet during these 40 Days of Prayer,

In Yeshua’s Name – AMEN

Assignment:

Protect Your Peace – We are preparing ourselves to enter a New Year.  Stay in God’s presence!  Settle matters with God in prayer.  Be still! Be quiet! Be at peace!   Yeshua shall speak on your behalf.   Yeshua shall defend you.  Yeshua shall preserve you.
