Day 25: Right Focus

Greetings, Beloveds,

As children of God, we have entered our FINEST HOUR. Light shines the brightest in darkness. We are experiencing an unsettling time in our nation. However, this unsettling is meant to refocus our attention on God. Everything that can be shaken will be shaken so that those things that are eternal shall remain.

Hebrews 12:27:

“Now this phrase, “Yet once more,” shows the removal of those things that are shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain.”

Remain Unshakable:

Beloveds, this is not the hour for prayerlessness. This is not the hour for hopelessness. This is not the hour for passivity.

To be battle ready is the mentality of the kingdom of God. In the Old Testament God brought His children into the Promised Land; but they had to fight to possess it, fight to keep it, fight to maintain it, and fight to preserve it.

When the enemy attacks; we must resist him and contend in prayer. The reality of spiritual warfare began before the existence of humanity; and will continue until Yeshua returns.

Until Yeshua comes, there will be battles that we must face. Why? We have an enemy. At times we will have to contend for everything we gain. At times it seems as if everything comes with a fight!

Raising godly children is a fight.
Building a happy marriage is a fight.
Being successful in your career is a fight.
God knows anything you do for the Lord comes with a fight.

But the alternative is to have nothing, be nothing, do nothing, and go nowhere. Thus we must develop the mindset of the kingdom. We were born into a battle and we must be prepared to conquer. We are going HIGHER!

Assignment:

PRAY – Let’s build our spiritual endurance. Pray without ceasing.

JOURNAL – Write in your prayer journal. Wait in the presence of the Lord. Hear what God is saying to you about the plans that He has for you. We are training our ear to hear from God. Speak out in prayer concerning that which Abba has shown you. You are strengthening your prophetic voice.

REMAIN FOCUSED – We are accomplishing a great work in the realm of the Spirit! Let us cancel every assignment of distraction or discouragement that would hinder our progress.
